Chat is a big engagement driver for your Shopping Shows. It helps buyers connect with your brand, ask questions from your Host / Brand Admin, and be more confident of their orders from your Shopping Shows. In order to maximize the potential of Chat, Chat Moderation plays a key role in ensuring a positive and engaging environment during Live Shopping Shows. To moderate the Chat, simply follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the Control Room of your Live Show.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Chat section

Step 3: Enter your message and you can now start chatting with your Buyers.

Pin/Unpin Message

With this feature, Moderators can pin/unpin a Chat Message so it remains at the top (desktop view) and bottom (mobile view) of your show’s live chat regardless of an audience’s dialogue or conversation timing. These Pinned Messages are flagged as special and make it easier for you to keep important information easily accessible to your buyer audiences.

It allows you to highlight limited-time offers, deals, discounts, coupon codes, important links, product information, announcements and greet/welcome your audience. During or after the show, you can also change the Pinned Message. How useful, Isn’t it?

To pin a message from the Dashboard, simply click on the Three Dots button next to the message and select Pin. To Unpin a message, simply click on the Pin icon or from the Three Dots button.

Reply to User Messages

To respond to a buyer’s message, click on the Three Dots button next to the message you want to reply and select Reply. You can then type your message and send it.

Delete Messages

You can delete messages that are spam, offensive, or off-topic. To do that, go to the message that you want to delete, click on the Three dots button and select Delete. You can delete both Host and User messages.

Ban/Unban Users

Banning a user will prevent them from sending any inappropriate messages in the Live show. To ban a user, go to their message and click on the Three Dots button. Now select Ban User and the user will no longer be able to send messages.

Now to unban a user, you can either go to Manage and unban this user from there or you can simply click on the three dots next to their message and select Unban User. This will unban the user and they can start sending messages to the show.

Product Spotlight

With this powerful feature of our Platform, hosts and brand admins can Spotlight Products during a live shopping show to attract buyers’ attention to them and drive conversions. Anytime a host wants to highlight a certain product among those being promoted in a shopping show, they can select it and the buyers will see that product prominently displayed. The Spotlighted Product moves to the top of the list of promoted products and appears highlighted.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Go to the Control Room for your Live Show.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Products section.

Step 3: Click on the Torch icon next to the product you want to Spotlight, the product will now be highlighted on the Buyer Interface.

Step 4: To unspotlight the product, click on the Torch icon again.

You can only spotlight one product at a time in a Live Shopping Show. A product that is already spotlighted will be automatically unspotlighted if you choose to spotlight another.

Effectively using the spotlight feature allows you to emphasize products and create a more engaging and dynamic experience for your audience during the Live Show.

Tip: Admins can also add a welcome message directly in your Show Form and pin it. This message will appear in the chat as pinned once you go Live.

Real-time Products Update

This feature enables Admins to seamlessly add, remove or update products in real-time during a Live Show from the Dashboard. This gives Admins full control over the products they want to promote, and allows them to choose these as per their requirement during Live and Recorded Shows.

Let’s take a look at how it works:

Step 1: Go to the Control Room for your Live Show.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Products section.

Step 3: If you do not have added any products yet, click on the Add Products button and select the products that you want to add to your show. Thereafter, click on the Continue button.

Step 4: To update the product list further, click on the Edit button. The Product Modal will open and from there you can add more products, remove existing ones, or update the product details however you want. It’s that simple!
